“LEKHA DODI”
1-OF-1 COVER ARTWORK
Lekha Dodi is about welcoming the Sabbath ("Go, my beloved, to meet the bride"). This image captures that perfectly. The heavy, ancient door is cracked open, and the warm, golden light spills out onto a wet, reflective stone floor. The ribbon of golden light swirling across the floor. It looks exactly like a physical soundwave or the groove of a vinyl record. It’s a brilliant visual metaphor for the "swung drums" and "qanun arpeggio" in the track
A dusty, swung groove meets ancient liturgy. "Lekha Dodi" takes the traditional Sabbath welcoming hymn and filters it through a warm, late-night soul aesthetic. Featuring soft qanun strings, chopped oud stabs, and intimate call-and-response vocals, it’s a head-nodding, vinyl-crackle invitation to slow down and welcome the evening
